| Once upon a time a tiny cappuchin monkey was born at Moana Zoo on the West Coast of the South Island. Jacquie Grant, who manages the zoo, delayed naming the small animal because he wasn't expected to survive. Rejected by his mother at birth, the little fellow was hand reared on powdered monkey milk (ask at your local supermarket) and raw egg. As he grew, the maternity ward of the local hospital contributed human milk and before long the young monkey was a happy, healthy toddler.
The wee chap was only a couple of months old when the Undiegate scandal erupted. Tuku Morgan became a regular feature on television news and Jacqui noticed that...
